New girl

Well my first week as the new girl is over.. Dont get me wrong I will be the new girl for the next few weeks, or at least I will milk it for all I can. My job is quite fun, fast paced, but fun. I dont sit down the entire time, which if any of you know about my last job thats all i did. The most i walked before was to the copier machine. Which was like 5 steps away from my desk. So this is a change, but it makes the time FLY by.

Everyone is adjusting well to the change I think. We all get to sleep in til about 8 or so, so that is good.. Well as I am sitting on my tush writing this Madelyn is getting on and into everything. Walking around saying, "hi baby, hi baby" and actually as i turn to look at her, she is quite the artist... Noticing the pen art that is on GiGi's comforter now is joined with spit art. Looks like she has been painting with her spit again... what brilliance...

Jensen has become my studious child. He will sit there and read a book, even started sleeping with a few books. Very content with reading the same books over and over, he does have his favorites. He will scan the book shelf to find the one he wants. I cant believe how smart they are already.

I had a strange feeling come over me this past week when I was driving home from work. I asked myself if I thought I would be where I was right now, if I didnt have my kids? Would I own a house? Would I take a job like I did? Would I be at my job? what would I be doing with all the time?? And I didnt have an answer for any of the questions. Which im sure there arent any answers just speculation. So im going to end this post feeling quite smart..

We're baaaaack

Well we are all back from our trek to the other side of the state.. 800 miles in 2 days.. EEKS.. The kids were great, all except Jensen at the activation ceremony, he has a thing with large crouds. Which was ok because then it took me out of the ceremony and got me from thinking about Josh leaving. Not a good day for Big Sis. Ok anyway this first picture is a picture of Josh shaking hands with Gov. Rounds.


This is a picture of my dad(Joe), Josh, and my uncle Chuck. The whole family is sooo proud of each and every military member but we are expecially proud of our family.. But we are a bit partial to them.



And to end this post is Miss Madelyn in Uncle Josh's hat. Isnt it cute!!! We would have one with Jensen, but the kid was a little upset, along with his mom. But we bought Josh a nice digital camera and are expecting LOTS of pictures from Afghanistan. I have yet to figure out why i am having such a hard time with it, besides being the big sister and i cant protect him there. Im also thinking that maybe i am just super proud.. So each and every night say a little prayer for Josh's safety and the safety of all the military personel that are away from their family and serving their country!!

Well my grandma says I must have something against capitalizing the letter "I". So I am going to make a more conscious effort to capitalizing that darn letter.. Anyway this is a picture I (yes i had to go over and backspace, and capitalize that stupid letter) took this morning before Josh left for Rapid City. The first one was cuter but Josh had his eyes closed so he demanded a redo.

Not much news since the other day, im sure that I will have more to report this week when I get a call from them to go fill out paperwork. So until then, everyone have a great day... Here are some other pictures taken this morning also, on the tramopline.

An announcement....

Well.. Everyone who reads this blog is aware of my employment issues.. I was told i was being let go in august, went on marathon interviews at quite a few places only to get the blessed you suck letters in return.. So i got hired back at my old job, which was very nice and i am excited about that!!!

Yesterday i got a call from Sioux Valley Clinic here in town, where i have honestly applied for like 10 jobs there but not recently, and the lady asked me if i was interested in coming in and talking to her. At first i told her no i was happy where i was and blah blah blah, hung up the phone.... about 5 minutes later i called her back and said i had changed my mind.. I went in there at about 2:30 for an interview, more of an explaniation of what i would be doing and today at 8:23 i got a call from Human resources and i have a job with sioux valley!!! im not sure the paticulars yet, i will find out more but i am super excited!!! it is a bit of a raise for me in pay.. hours are 9-6 and it is in medical records.. i guess i will also be in charge of closing the clinic at night... but it is my foot in the door!!!

Thought i would catch everyone up with that.... Josh, Madelyn, Jensen and i are going to Aberdeen tomorrow to see Leah, Triston, Jaydon, Mary, Constance, and Nicholas... I will take pictures.. i PROMISE!!!!! Gotta get back to my old job for two more weeks!!!

P*A*R*T*Y

Why because we gotta... We are having a little party for my brother Josh tonight at my parents shop.. It shall be a fun time!!! It is kinda like a little farewell party for when he goes to Afghanistan in Januaryish... So i will try to post a few pictures coming up..

Also the new job is going well, i am well liked there, made assistant manager and we drew names for christmas and i got my co-workers name.. I also got employee of the week.. Got invited over to some peoples houses to socialize.. Ok jokes on you.. there are only two that are employed at my office.. Cindy and I... We have fun with jokes like that...

I get my new bed today!!! Super stoked about that!!! Ok so its my 2nd bed in less than a year...
