Family Time

Well what a whirl wind weekend... We have been keeping pretty busy lately. We went to a wedding this weekend on the surface of the sun!!! It was sooooo hot... We only were at the wedding/reception for 2 hours.. Long enough to take a BIG family picture, which i will try to put on here when i receive one. Looking back at all of us in the picture what a load of kids!!! hahaha... No it was fun to have absolutly all of us at one occasion, and a good chance to meet all the new little babies in the family!!!

Found out my brother is going to be going to afghanistan (or however you want to spell it) around octoberish for about a year or so. So big sister gets to worry about baby brother and has already had the "stay out of trouble" talk with him. Im worried about him going over there but also know it is something he has wanted to do since he was sworn in. Its all part of being a military family.

Oh and another interesting tid bit of info, i am in the process of looking for a new job. SOO not excited about that but im pretty sure the company i am working for now is going to be downsizing. Sad but maybe it is time to move on. I have my resume out there and will just wait to hear from them i hope!!!

Top o the mornin to ya...

Yeah, well something has to make me smile on a MONDAY... We had a JAM packed weekend. Friday we came home from mom and dad's and were all in bed at 8:30. Then saturday the kids played ALL day with cousins Triston and Jaydon, alright Jaydon is only about 6 weeks old but still. That night we went out to mom and dad's and we crashed DeVilles house!! Jensen needed to spend time with his future wife Reese. Then sunday we went to Fargo so mommy could go thru cousin Constance's old clothes for Madelyn. Let me tell ya folks!!!! Awesome deals!!! I am super stoked to take pictures of her in all her new outfits!!! well tonight i will work on putting some pictures up... Now i must work.. BLECK

Teeth...Teeth.. everywhere!!!

Ok.. Mind you that up until this point teething has been a breeze. Those darn eye teeth are causing a bit of a problem. Im a little ticked off how much of a problem they are becoming. Miss Madelyn had a fever of 103.6 yesterday, actual tempature you might ask.. NOT SURE... come to find out it depends on what ear you try to get the temp out of?? Anyway, we are all still alive to tell the story and the fever has gone (thanks to tylenol) and thanks to all of you that i called to ask what to do.

This is GG's favorite picture of J&M. Im thinking they wouldnt still fit in a pampers box, but i may just try it again real soon, she is still reminding me how they could have fit in their christmas stockings right after they were born. She never lets me forget most things that she wants done. Anyway, back to the daily routine!!!

cheap fun...

OK, so i should have waited one day to put the sprinkler picture on. We went out to my aunt and uncles to chill (with temps at 100 what is chilling like??) It seems like my children have a use for everything. A simple round tin container, about 6 inches high and probably a foot around, filled with water for pigeons mind you, and my two make a baby pool out of it.. Not just splashing the water around with their hands, or stepping in with just their feet. Nope, we are talking sitting down, in a tin pan that just fits one when they are sitting in it. but tryin to fit both of them in it at the same time.. We have to enjoy the simplicity of children dont we??

My super cute godson Noah then got the garden hose out. One thing led to another and we had just diapers on, then what the heck, diapers off, NAKEEEE BABIES!!!! They had SOOO much fun but they were absolutly chilled, thank god Steve and Carletta have a hot tub!!! So the kids also got to go hot tubbin there!!! I think it was an enjoyable evening, thanks for the good ol memory folks, we will be talking about this one for a long time!!! Also cant wait for the pool to be done at their house!!!! I think every now and again i will throw an old school picture in. Wow they were calm back then... Now they make me tired just watching them play!!! Ok, i hear nothing now, that definatly means they are in some sort of trouble!!!!

look at what happens when you let a boy play in some water.. Jensen LOVES the sprinkler, Madelyn could really care less. But Jensen is totally a fan!!! We were waiting for auntie Erica and Uncle Matt and it was HOT!!!

You cant really see it now.. But under his right eye, well more beside it, he encountered the end table... We are mastering the fork and spoon, and the plate... keeping it actually on the table is a whole other thing. As i sit here right now.. Madelyn is whining at me to pick her up... Argh... so i must go and spend time with the little ones!!!

Madge is being occupied by drawing while J-bird is waiting his turn, very impatiently i may add. This seems to be the only way i am able to upload pictures from my camera, but whatever works!!!

my first time...

wow... My very own blog.. Finally right!! im thinking that a total of 2 people will ever read this and give a whoot about it!!! But oh well... If your reading this, then you know what im going to be talking about.. My twinnies... They had their 18 month check up yesterday at the doctor.. J is 28lbs 8 oz and 33 1/2 inches tall (here i thought he was going to be a midget??) and little miss M is 23lbs 15 oz and 31 inches tall.. little shrimpy shrimp.

They were NOT fond of the nurse yesterday or the doctor.. Im not sure why but they screamed bloody murder!!!

All in all, happy and healthy little kiddo's and i am to continue to do whatever im doing, they look great!!

One question that bothered me today was when they asked if J & M take their socks and shoes off. I quickly answered "NO" and the nurse just sat and looked at me.. HELLO... i have spent the last 18 months telling my two to keep their shoes on and now they want to know if they take them off... Good grief charlie brown!!!
